Ben graduated from Michigan State University and also served as a manager for Coach Tom Izzo and the basketball team, which participated in 2 Final Fours during his tenure. Shortly after Ben graduated, Coach Nick Saban hired him to serve in Football Operations at the University of Alabama, where he was part of 2 BCS National Championships. In Ben’s first year, Coach Saban quickly promoted him to Associate Director of Football Operations.
From 2011 to 2015, Ben worked with Alabama players and coaches in several areas, including recruiting, organizing game plans, team travel, player employment, NCAA compliance, coaching clinics, and youth camps. After deciding to pursue a career in sports management, Ben immediately received multiple offers from very prominent sports agencies and chose SportsTrust’s offer our team in 2015. Due to his instant success at SportsTrust, Ben earned a promotion to Vice President in 2018. With 12 years’ experience working very closely with great collegiate and professional players, as well as immediately gaining his NFLPA certification, Ben has been an All-Star for SportsTrust and our clients.
Ben worked alongside me every day for four years at Alabama. I witnessed firsthand his commitment, dedication, intelligence, integrity, effectiveness and dependability. He has a tireless passion for helping players, and his several years’ prior experience working with players will serve SportsTrust’s clients very well.
